“You don’t need any more labels. You need support that actually works.”

I’m Courteney McLean

I’m a relationship and behavior specialist, educator, and parent coach with more than 25 years of experience supporting families, schools, and youth.

I work with children and teens with exceptionalities—including ADHD, autism, trauma, and learning differences through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens. My goal is simple: to help families and educators understand behavior, strengthen relationships, and create spaces where everyone can thrive.

This isn’t therapy. It’s practical, compassionate coaching designed to help you move forward with clarity and confidence whether you’re supporting a child, a classroom, or an entire community.

With a Master’s in Education, over two decades in teaching and leadership roles, and a Certified Leadership Coach designation, I bring both deep professional knowledge and personal empathy to my work.

I specialize in supporting families and schools navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, learning differences, and trauma...always through a lens of compassion, communication, and connection.

“If the parents are ok, the kids are ok.”

When caregivers and educators feel supported, confident, and connected, children thrive...at home, in school, and in community. That’s the heart of this work.

I acknowledge that I live and work on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the nĂȘhiyawak (Cree), AnihĆĄināpēk (Saulteaux), Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda peoples, and the homeland of the MĂ©tis Nation. I recognize the deep and enduring connection these Nations have to this land, and I commit to walking in a spirit of reconciliation, respect, and partnership with Indigenous communities.
